Project: Kings and Queens

\n<\/strong>Country: Ghana<\/strong><\/p>\n

24 hour care for 10 children with intellectual or multiple disabilities. Aged between\u00a08 and\u00a020 years. Started as an NGO in 2006 under supervision of mrs. Margaret Adutwumwaa and supported by Ghanaian voluntary workers. NGO Kings and Queens gets no government support. Support is provided mostly by foreign volunteers and donors.<\/p>\n

RISING STARS FOUNDATION OFFERS:\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Material aid. Financial aid for food, clothing, schooling, housing etc. Professional support through schooling and training. Use of volunteers from the Netherlands. Support in preparing and implementing a\u00a0Care Farm\u00a0in the village Offinso. This farm should eventually provide the project with financial resources for independent functioning. Also, the older children will be able to contribute in the farming activities.<\/p>\n
